I very recently got my cameras back after an unexpected lengthy few weeks at the repair shop. Cameras unfortunately tend to follow the same rules that cars do, where you drop it off for a service and within a couple of hours you've had a phone call about the 7 problems you were blissfully unaware of, the eye opening figure it's going to cost to solve said problems and that it's now unusable until they are fixed. Sound familiar?! Well, 3 weeks and what turned out to be sliiiiightly more than the standard '£50 service fee' later I had them back and felt a day trip over to one of my favourite places to test them was necessary.
Here are those images on a variety of lenses testing focus speed, how they performed in different lighting conditions, focal lengths and all of the other geeky photography words.
